Summer Vacation:
popsicles
wading pool in the front yard
lazy days in the warm sun
reading, just for fun
riding bikes with friends
picnics in the park
the buzzing of bees
the song of the meadowlark
sun tanning in the back yard
smelling the fresh cut grass
hot dog roasts along the creek
warm nights on the porch
spitting watermelon seeds
riding horses through the aspens
soft night breezes blowing the curtains
garden tomatoes and corn on the cob
crickets singing me to sleep
Now as a Mom... I still can't wait for summer vacation!!!
What did you love about summer vacation? What does your kids love?
I have a truly dream life. There are many of you out there that probably share my passion for following a dream and making it happen. Well, what happens when all of your dreams come true? (Except the one about being Sleeping Beauty at Disneyland, but maybe someday....) Now I can share my view on life and maybe you will see that with a tweak here and a flip-flop there, you probably are "livin' the dream", too.

Sounds like a perfect summer vacation to me too! Following from the VB!
ReplyDeleteFun post. We didn't take tons of summer vacations besides our annual trip to Lake Michigan to go salmon fishing. However, we traveled more during the winter. I loved getting in the car at 4:00 am in snowy MN and getting out 5 hours later for breakfast where the weather was sooo much warmer!

So precious! Your little girl is so amazingly adorable! I think my baby girl would love to do the same, but she's only 8. I need to wait a couple of years. Great family you've got there. Looks a little like mine! I've got an AMAZING husband, four beautiful kids, and some great family and friends.
